Pulse - Motion Identity for Sound
20 Jan 2026

Pulse is a motion design concept built around the emotional energy of sound. Abstract waveforms, orbiting objects, glowing particles, and shifting gradients move in response to imagined beats, creating a flexible identity that feels alive across every frame.
A midnight navy foundation creates depth, while electric blue, ultraviolet, and coral bring contrast and intensity. The system was designed for title sequences, event visuals, social content, and digital campaigns.
The challenge
Music is invisible, emotional, and constantly changing. The challenge was to create a visual system that could express different moods and genres without becoming visually inconsistent or relying on predictable music-related imagery.
The solution
A modular motion toolkit was created using three core principles: rhythm, flow, and reaction. Waveforms communicate tempo, layered ribbons create movement, and glowing particles add atmosphere. By changing speed, density, colour, and scale, the identity can shift from calm and ambient to energetic and intense while remaining recognisably Pulse.
